Schlatter has been involved in electric resistance welding for more than 80 years. Electric resistance welding is a process, which joins metal parts in a bonded joint by using electric power to heat them to welding temperature while at the same time subjecting them to a mechanical force. No filler material is used.

Electric resistance welding is a versatile and highly dynamic joining method allowing a large number of welds to be performed quickly, accurately, cleanly, economically and with reproducible quality.

The core competence of Schlatter lies in the synergetic mastery of welding technology, mechatronics and systems engineering.
